• Research Outline
Our group at the, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine has been selected as one of the centers for research and education in the field of medical science by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology through the 21st Century COE (Center of Excellence) Programs. Our program aims to identify the functional properties of sugar chains and proteins, and to find the treatments of human diseases by using them. To achieve our goal, we are seeking appropriate researchers for our program.

• Professions and numbers of positions available
Specially appointed faculty (corresponding to an associate professor or an assistant professor or research fellow rank) • postdoctoral fellows, total of approximately 14 persons
Note: A specially appointed faculty member (an associate professor rank) will conduct research independently.

• Required Qualifications
Specially appointed faculty • an associate professor rank: the acquisition of a master’s degree or higher required.
Specially appointed faculty • a teaching fellow rank: the acquisition of a bachelor’s degree or higher or experienced as a teaching fellow required.
Researchers: the acquisition of a doctor’s degree and age under 40 is required
Note: We cannot hire those who are enrolled in as special researchers at Japan Society for the Promotion of Science or those who receive financial supports such as postdoctoral fellowships and others.
